It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially when you feel it is too soon. To anyone who has grieved, or is grieving someone, I hope you find comfort in knowing you are not alone. Losing someone can take its toll on you, right down to your core.
Never let anyone tell you how long you should grieve. Everyone deals with loss differently. It is okay to grieve. You are allowed to randomly start crying because something triggered a memory. You are allowed to feel emotions. It is what makes us who we are. It also helps us deal with loss and get through our own lives without going into self-destruction.
The poem is about a girl I’ve known for over 9 years. She was fighting cancer and it became a losing battle. She chose to end her suffering before it overcame her. Many of us commend her on that decision as it is a very brave one and is not an easy one to make. I will never forget her. Her strong spirit will stick with us that knew her well.
If you are grieving and have a hard time getting through, reach out for help. Talk to someone, find an outlet to help your emotions.

Always know you are never alone. They are with you in spirit even if they are not with you in person. It is never goodbye, but rather, “see you later.”
A beautiful poem, thanks for sharing.
